During our experience with my husbands cancer journey, I learned the importance of daily holistic rituals to support the body, mind and spirit.
These daily rituals that we incorporated included physical and emotional detoxing, stress and anxiety release, as well as using the power of food as medicine.
Over the course of our journey, I discovered how these simple, daily holistic habits gave us the mental, emotional and physical strength to create a lifetime of good health, happiness and ease…and now it is my mission to share these rituals with you.
In 2014 my husband, Jim, was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
I will never forget the look on his face, or the sinking feeling in my body, when we heard the words “you’ve got cancer”. It was devastating. My heart broke that day.
Life, as we knew it, changed dramatically…for the better.
During our journey with Jim’s cancer, we worked with Naturopaths who taught us about the effects that toxins have on our body, mind, and spirit. We also learned the power of nutritiously dense foods, as well as easy daily protocols that support the body, mind and spirit.
I’ve studied mind/body/spirit healing and nutrition intensely for over 15 years, and after our journey with Jim’s cancer, I went back to school and became a Holistic Wellness Coach, a PN Health Coach, and Functional Aging Specialist.
Jim’s treatments are now done, (and were successful!), and we still incorporate many of the daily protocols we learned into our lives and I can honestly say, we’ve never felt better and have never been healthier.

Meet “Buster” (on the left). He was a HUGE part of our life for almost 18 years. Sadly, he crossed the Rainbow Bridge in May, 2019.
Welcome the newest member of the Young family – this is “Jax”. When we adopted him from a Humane Society, he was 7 months old and we thought he was a golden lab/german shepherd…but he kept growing, and growing. A DNA test confirmed he is 62.5% Great Dane, 25% Labrador, 12.5% “herding” breed – EEK!! He is just a big love bug!
